Putteridge Primary School
Everything should be within the child's outstretched hand
Putteridge Primary School
Putteridge Primary School is a three-form entry school located on the borders of Luton & Hertfordshire. We are a caring, happy and successful community school, where every child is valued and supported. We provide a safe, supportive and positive school environment that encourages children to come independent, confident learners, who enjoy coming to school each day. Ofsted have recognised that our children achieve well and by the time they leave Year 6, they are well prepared for secondary school.
We work closely in partnership with parents to ensure that every child in our care can achieve their full potential across all areas of development. Ofsted have stated that our parents are overwhelmingly positive about the school and the nurturing environment that we provide for our children.
Our shared aims are to provide a high-quality education for every child and to create an engaging, creative and stimulating curriculum. We encourage children to develop respect for others, an understanding of people’s rights and needs, and a sense of responsibility towards the wider world. We support children in developing self-discipline and positive behaviour, while motivating them to build confidence and take pride in their achievements.
We strongly believe that our work makes a real difference to each child’s life chances, and we maintain consistently high expectations for both our pupils and ourselves. Above all, we care deeply about our school community, and this is shown in everything we do.
