Dear Parents/Carers
National Education Union Teacher Strike Action – Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May 2023
I am writing to let you know the arrangements for the National Education Union strike days on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May 2023. I am sure you will understand the complexities we face and the challenging work that has gone into coming to a decision regarding school opening.
A significant number of staff at Leagrave Primary School are members of the NEU. Although they are not obliged to inform me of their intentions, some union members have.
As a result of the information I have been given, the following year groups will remain open to pupils on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May:
- Reception
- Year 4
- Year 5
- Year 6
The following year groups will be closed to pupils on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May:
- Nursery
- Year 1
- Year 2
- Year 3
If there are any changes to these arrangements, I will communicate them to you immediately.
